Unreasonable Mentors
Gib Bulloch
Founder, Accenture Development Partnerships, CEO of The Craigberoch Business Decelerator
Gib is an Unreasonable Mentor.
Gib Bulloch is an award winning social intrapreneur who consults, writes and speaks on regenerative leadership and the role of business in society. He believes passionately in the power of business to change the world and in the power of the individual to change the world of business. Having recently completed three years of training at the Zulma Reyo School of Consciousness in Majorca, Gib is convinced that change must start with ourselves through inner development – a topic he explores in his regular business column, The Inside Out Leader in the magazine, The Beautiful Truth.
In 2019, Gib founded the Craigberoch Business Decelerator on the Isle of Bute in Scotland where he grew up. It is positioned at the nexus of business, the arts, wellbeing and the natural environment – a space “where people and ideas can flourish”.
After a 20 year career in Accenture, Gib left the company in 2016 to write his first book: “The Intrapreneur: Confessions of a Corporate Insurgent” (2018), a personal story of Gib’s 15 year journey to create and scale Accenture’s global "not-for-loss" consulting business, Accenture Development Partnerships(ADP). From a standing start in 2003, this innovative venture has delivered over $1billion worth of services in 90 countries worldwide. ADP attracted significant media attention, won Accenture international awards for Corporate Social Responsibility and Gib himself was voted the UK’s Management Consultant of the year (Best Partner).
Gib’s original career 'epiphany' came from a year as a business volunteer with the charity Voluntary Service Overseas in the Balkans in 2000. He has a degree in engineering and an MBA from the University of Strathclyde and spent his early career in BP and Mars. He is a Visiting Fellow on Intrapreneurship at Cranfield University and serves on the Board of The League of Intrapreneurs.
