With a career spanning Nike, Burberry, and Target, Jalaj Hora is a globally recognized executive, investor, and founder at the frontier of innovation, materials, and sustainable systems design.

He has spent two decades operating where technology, materials, and systems design converge, not consulting from the sidelines, but leading transformations at scale inside some of the world’s most demanding brands.

At Nike, as VP of Product Innovation, he architected an AI-driven sports science platform and built the digital product creation ecosystem that now underpins the brand’s design-to-retail pipeline. At Burberry, as SVP of Supply Chain, he pioneered regenerative materials and digital prototyping that reset the benchmark for low-impact luxury.

Today, he runs Synthegrate, a venture studio investing in fashion, beauty, wellness, and climate related technologies and brings that same operating instinct to the ventures he backs and builds.

He is co-founder of SurpRice™, a next-generation materials company, and Professor of Innovation, Regenerative Systems, and Applied AI at Manchester Metropolitan University. He has played a founding role in the Institute for Positive Fashion and sits on the board of several impact driven companies.
