James has over two decades of business and engineering leadership experience in cleantech and energy, including strategy, operations, finance, design, and engineering. As CEO of e-Zinc, James has successfully raised over $100 million for the company. He is responsible for formulating and executing the company's strategic plan, and leading its commercialization journey. 

Before e-Zinc, James was Director of Business Development with MaRS Advanced Energy Centre, and before that, a management consult with Bain & Company. James also has many years of engineering experience in the renewable energy industry. James holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University (Honours) and an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University (Dean's List). James is also a registered Professional Engineer.
