Jamil Wyne is an advisor, investor, and researcher focusing on high-impact entrepreneurship globally. He has spent his career working with development finance institutions, impact investment firms, and technology startups, including the World Bank, International Finance Corporation, Schmidt Futures, Clean Energy Venture Group, the United Nations, Oxford University, Systematic Ventures, Ashoka, and Mercy Corps. He has helped build funds and technology ecosystems in a range of countries, including Jordan, Greece, Serbia, Singapore, Oman, Ukraine, Egypt, Japan, Kuwait, and Bangladesh. He was also a Fulbright Fellow, and is currently a Fellow at the Truman National Security Project and New America Foundation, and is an adjunct professor at American University. His work has been featured or cited in SSIR, WEF, McKinsey, Wall Street Journal, Innovations Magazine (MIT), Al-Jazeera, World Bank, United Nations, Brookings, and Wharton publications, as well as university curricula and books. He has an MBA from INSEAD, an MA from Johns Hopkins SAIS, and a BA from Bowdoin College.
