Jason McBriarty is a social impact and corporate citizenship leader with more than 25 years of experience advancing philanthropy, sustainability, and community engagement. He spent two decades at Levi Strauss & Co., where he held senior leadership roles spanning communications, finance, and operations for the Levi Strauss Foundation, as well as global community affairs. In these roles, he helped steward a $70M investment portfolio and $10M in annual grantmaking, aligning philanthropic strategy with the company’s broader environmental and social impact commitments.
He remains closely connected to the fashion and apparel ecosystem, serving on the advisory board of Mercado Global and as a strategic advisor to Upcyclers, supporting more sustainable, inclusive, and circular models across the industry.
Today, Jason advises organizations advancing social impact, business, and community development. His work includes serving as a communications and engagement consultant to FEND Helmets, where he is helping reframe helmet adoption as a design and behavior challenge while building partnerships with cities and bike coalitions to drive scalable safety and business outcomes. He also serves as a senior consultant to the Mid-Market Business Association & Foundation in San Francisco, supporting fundraising strategy, institutional positioning, and arts-driven economic revitalization.
Jason is a founding team member of AI4NP.org, a national initiative helping nonprofits adopt artificial intelligence responsibly and effectively through shared tools, learning, and community. He sits on the advisory board of the University of New Hampshire Sustainability Institute and recently served as a mentor to student teams to the Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment, and is a member of the Racial Equity and Inclusion Committee at HeadCount. He holds an MBA from Boston University and a BA in Political Science from University of New Hampshire.
