Mr. Joshi is Regional Procurement Director, J&J(APAC), having held leadership roles across industries. From 2009, he was MD for Zon Associates, an award-winning consultancy. He led public and private transformations widely reported in the media. At Leicester, he led the transformation for SME’s/Charities, increasing youth apprenticeships while delivering budget cuts (covered by BBC news) and winning national awards for innovation. At Stoke/Oldham, he led public-private JV negotiations (£625m) for jobs and regeneration. Previously, he was Commercial Director at NCSL (also international development, travel & legal); Regional Head of Procurement for Amgen, the world's biggest biotech; and Global Wholesale Director for Versatel Telecom, a startup he helped grow to 2000 employees. Mr. Joshi believes Procurement is a force for good, building enabling functions to expand beyond traditional deliverables. He has a passion for talent, has created T&D programs, is a mentor to young entrepreneurs, and regularly speaks at universities. He helps ‘E-nable’ fabricate 3D printed hands for anyone missing fingers through accidents or birth defects. Mr. Joshi is founder and chair of the APAC CPO Forum (Google, RioTinto, SingTel, Hays, Baxters, Goldman Sachs, etc). He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Directors and the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply. He is married with three kids and no dog (negotiations ongoing).
