JP is Founder and CEO of plant-powered food company allplants. Since launching in early 2017, the company has garnered awards for pushing culinary boundaries, delivering more than 1 million healthy, delicious, and sustainable meals to doorsteps nationwide and building a community of more than 100,000 fans. JP is passionate about gathering together brilliant people on a mission to do good; previously, he launched both Africa's first mobile bank (M-Shwari), and Kenya's fastest-growing retail healthcare chain (Penda). Prior to those ventures, he started his career at McKinsey. In allplants JP has found a venture to build for decades as opposed to years, and in the early founding team and angels he has brought together an array of leaders from category-defining food, media and lifestyle brands. The team is now on a mission to change the world for the better through great tasting plant-powered food.
