Karl is an Unreasonable Fellow. Karl was part of Unreasonable Impact UK & Europe 2018.
Karl brings 20 years of experience from various entrepreneurial roles in tech start-ups and corporate ventures, both private and public companies. Having worked and lived both in the US and Asia, he has broad international sales and business development experience.
Karl turned around his last company - an energy storage tech company - and took it public in 2016 (NASDAQ Stockholm).
Prior to that, he founded and ran a wireless tech company, a spin-out from Ericsson, which was later acquired by General Electric.
Karl has been involved in building four different technology start-ups, increasing sales by up to 20 times and increasing company valuation by 10 times.
In 2018, he was awarded Bloomberg's New Energy Pioneer, and in 2010 he won IBM's “SmartCamp” award for global entrepreneurs.
Karl holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Linköping University of Technology in Sweden and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, as well leadership training from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business.
