Unreasonable Mentors
Kate Boydell
Advisor and Writer on Brand, Culture and Systems Change
Kate is an Unreasonable Mentor. Kate was part of Unreasonable Impact UK & Europe 2021, and has advised over 15 Unreasonable companies.
Kate is an independent writer, thinker and adviser. Over a 25 year marketing and consulting career, she became an early advocate of the belief that great, healthy organizations treat storytelling as an input, not just an output. She helps senior leaders in for- and non-profit organizations identify what’s authentic to them at the intersection of brand, culture and future—and turn that into strategic stories that stir action. Clients have included American Express, Campbell’s, CARE USA, Coca-Cola, Girl Effect, Global Health Corps, Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator, IBM, J&J Global Community Impact, MasterCard, The New York Times, Virgin, and more.
Kate holds an MA from Cambridge University and is an alum of the prestigious WPP Marketing Fellowship. She developed her practice through her own consulting firm and subsequent strategy roles at Ogilvy, The Corporate Agenda, Anomaly, and most recently as Partner & Head of Strategy at elite New York consulting firm SYPartners. Now based in London with her young family, she continues to write for, advise and collaborate with senior leaders whose vision and values she shares.
