Kosuke is a Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for Barclays Securities Japan Limited (BSJL), a position he has held since August 2016. He is also a Representative Director of BSJL since November 2017. Additionally, he assumed the position of Representative of Japan and Branch Manager for Barclays Bank PLC’s Tokyo Branch in November 2018.

Kosuke was previously Head of Fixed Income Financing, Asia Pacific, responsible for JGB, AUD and Asia Emerging Market Fixed Income Financing. Prior to joining Barclays in November 2008,

Kosuke spent over seven years at Lehman Brothers working in the Fixed Income Financing trading team in Japan, which he led from 2005.

He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Keio University.
