Born in Norway and grew up in a small town outside Oslo. Have a MSc in Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration, and a Russian Language degree from the Norwegian Military School of Intelligence and Security. Enjoyed a brief career as interpreter to the Defence Attache at the Norwegian Embassy in Moscow in the mid-90s before starting my investment banking career in London in 2000. Have worked for two different investment banks in 4 different cities; London (4 years), Mumbai (4 months), Sydney (10 years) and Hong Kong (5 years). Currently Head of M&A and Financial Sponsors, Asia Pacific, at Barclays, member of the APAC Banking OpCo and Chair of the Regional Citizenship Council. Happily married with three children. Keen interest in yoga, hiking/running, skiing, food & wine and art. Aspiring golfer.
