Maria is the CEO and co-founder of Zymvol, a biotechnology company building a computational platform to redesign how enzymes are discovered, engineered, and deployed in industrial manufacturing. Trained as a scientist, Maria combines a PhD-level technical background with deep experience working alongside pharma, CDMOs, and chemical manufacturers. She is a recipient of the EU Women Innovators Prize for her work democratizing green chemistry.
