Mark Zanoli, with over 25 years of experience working with technology companies, joined Barclays in January. Mark spent 17 years with JP Morgan (including its predecessor in technology, Hambrecht & Quist), where he was a senior banker and held a number of management roles, including Head of Technology Banking. After JPMorgan, he joined UBS for three years, where he was the US Head of Technology. For the following five years he ran his own firm, Jackson Street Partners, LLC, an advisory boutique formed in 2013 to advise tech start-ups on M&A situations and various capital raising opportunities.
During his long and successful career, Mark has advised on a number of high-profile and strategically significant transactions in the tech sector including the IPOs for companies such as Citrix Systems, F5 Networks, Ubiquiti Networks and Infoblox; he advised Hewlett Packard on it acquisition of EDS and Opsware; he also advised NetScreen Technologies’ sale to Juniper Networks.
