Mårten Hellberg holds a M.Sc. in engineering molecular biotechnology from Uppsala University and a B.A. in economics from Stockholm University. He is a co-founder of OrganoClick and has served as its CEO since its founding in 2006. OrganoClick is a material and chemical technology company listed on NASDAQ First North. The company is selling, producing and developing green materials and chemistry based on fibers and natural compounds. The company has been awarded with several prizes, such as Sweden's most promising start-up, Swedens best environmental innovation, a Climate solver by the WWF and a Sustainia 100 company. The company has its HQ, R&D-lab and factory in Täby, north of Stockholm, and has affiliates in Finland and Norway, as well as exporting to Central Europe, China and Taiwan. Mårten has also co-founded several biotech companies (e.g. X-brane Biopharma listed on NASDAQ First North). Before starting his entrepreneurial career, Mårten also had an active elite career in canoeing, where was a member of the Swedish National Canoeing Team and Olympic group for 12 years.
