Martin studied electrical engineering and attended universities in Austria, Florida and Massachusetts. He began his career in Stone & Webster in Boston, then joined Westinghouse which was later acquired by Siemens & now Siemens Energy. Martin has been with Siemens for several decades and has had numerous positions in engineering, product line marketing, strategy, product planning, PMO, and holding P&L for fuel cells, concentrated solar power, EPC turnkey power plants and mobile power. Martin is now heading strategy/ market development for entire Siemens Energy portfolio in North America (13k employees and $10B+ revenue). Martin is married to a Cuban/ Italian wife with two adult children (29 and 26). Martin enjoys beginner yoga and spending time walking on the beach or just breathing the ocean air. He also loves Westerns movies.
