I am a former British Army officer. I undertook many diverse roles during a 25 year career and completed the standard run of deployments to operational theatres all over the world. My contribution was mostly in the operations planning and operations command and control functions but I also completed several roles in equipment and associated service procurement as a senior programme manager on large technical projects.

Since joining Pearson I have been working with large employers to deliver learning and qualifications to their employees. I lead a portfolio of contract delivery businesses that provide education and training in a vocational setting. My customer base spans both large government departments and large commercial employers in transport, engineering and telecoms, delivering vocational learning to 1,000s of learners every day. Many of these learners are in the early stages of employment; our purpose is to help them progress their careers whilst providing a cost efficient and learner focused education and training provision to the employer.
