Mauricio is a business and thought leader in decarbonisation, the energy transition and sustainability. He has 24+ years’ experience supporting the sustainability transformation journeys of large, emissions intensive organisations. He has helped his clients on strategy definition & implementation, portfolio and asset optimisation, and carbon intelligence. He also publishes, speaks and is often quoted on these topics.

His purpose is to help organisations protect and create societal, environmental and economic value in the transition towards a digitally enabled, net zero impact and ethical economy. His vision is that technology will be the critical enabler to achieve and scale the visibility and integration of non-financial performance data and insights into the core business systems and processes that are necessary to achieve this major transition.

Mauricio holds a Ph.D. in Energy and Environmental Economics from the Toulouse School of Economics. He is based in London.
