Meera Vasudevan is a co-founder of UMA Global Foods, a Singapore based company with a mission to acquire heritage/legacy 'tail' brands in the food and personal care areas, renovate them to provide affordable wellness to consumers around the world and in the process, reactivate the brands' genetic potential.
Meera is also a co-founder of C-SAW (Center for the Spread of Affordable Wellness), a Singapore-based company to promote Wellness through Food, with its Applied Food Research Center, AQBATOR© and Advisory services that will deliver transformational & holistic business solutions.
Prior to that, Meera co-founded Preferred Brands International, a US-based food company that manufactures and markets a line of natural and organic international meals under the brand name ‘Tasty Bite’. She focused on building the global Innovation and Marketing functions for the brand.
Meera co-founded Quantum Market Research, India’s first and now it’s largest specialist qualitative research company. Before setting up Quantum, she was at MARG, a leading market research firm in India, and part of the Nielsen Group.
She also runs a fully funded, family foundation with her husband - the Meera & Ashok Vasudevan Foundation - that focuses on eradicating hunger and malnourishment in America in a manner that is self reliant, sustainable and healthy.
Meera has a Bachelors in English with post-graduate qualifications in Marketing from the University of Madras and INSEAD, France
