Melisa Lawton

Melisa Lawton is an international energy entrepreneur and strategic advisor with over 30 years of experience operating across global capital markets, advising sovereign funds and corporates on complex cross-border transactions.

She co-founded and successfully exited a significant upstream exploration and production business focused on Africa and Central Asia. She maintains active oil and gas interests in producing fields in West Africa.

Earlier in her career, she held investment banking roles at Merrill Lynch (London & Madrid) and worked within the "Sovereign Advisory team advising foreign governments" at Lazard Frères in Paris.

Melisa’s latest venture is as an NED and founding investor of listed “Stack Bitcoin Treasury Ltd.” She brings significant experience in international governance, geopolitical navigation, and strategic oversight to the Stack Board
