Michael Tang is part of a family business that has started and purchased dozens of companies in numerous business segments such as manufacturing, health care, energy and transportation.  Michael has numerous civic and philanthropic board affiliations including those involving academic, economic, cultural and public policy issues. In addition he has been involved in corporate social responsibility issues and social venture capital. He received a BA in economics from the College of William and Mary and a JD from Georgetown University Law Center. Prior to joining the family business Michael practiced law in Arizona.
