Minchan Park
Director of Portfolio and Investment Selection at Unreasonable
Minchan has been with Unreasonable since 2022. Minchan has participated in 11 programs, including Unreasonable Food 2025.
Min heads up Unreasonable's Venture and Investment Selection team. He is responsible for Unreasonable's venture selection process - from sourcing, diligence and investment selection - for our impact-orientated ventures tackling the world's most pressing problems.
Min has 10 years of commercial experience spanning private equity, strategy consulting and venture capital. Prior to Unreasonable, Min was a portfolio executive at Hg Capital, a leading European private equity fund ($100M AUM, delivering 3.0x MOIC and 31% Gross IRR since 2001) where he led value creation and investment support across a range of B2B software investments.
Min has built his commercial skillset as a strategy consultant at OC&C Strategy Consultants in London, where he provided strategic buy and sell side due diligence across 20+ mid-market and large-cap deals in Retail, B2B Services and TMT, for leading private equity clients such as CVC, Warburg Pincus, Ardian and Vitruvian. Min has also advised multinational corporations such as Unilever, IHG, Dior and many others on their commercial strategy. Min holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Cambridge, though he not-so-secretly wishes he did a Philosophy degree.
He is originally from South Korea and speaks English with a slight kiwi twang, having grown up in the South Island of New Zealand. Beyond speaking to phenomenal founders and learning about their businesses, Min is easily excited by: tennis, Bernese mountain dogs, and getting 8 hours of sleep (in reverse order).
