Mr. Mo Haji, co-founder and CEO of Rotan Energy, has over a decade of investment experience. At Rotan Energy, Mo led the development efforts of a 660MW power station in Ghana including commercial contract negotiations, debt/equity financing activities, engineering and environmental studies/design/permitting, and managed all strategic stakeholders in and out of Ghana. Prior to co-founding Rotan Energy, Mo worked at Silver Lake Partners, a global leader in technology private equity investing, where he was a key member of the investment team dealing with all aspects of transaction execution, portfolio management, and origination. Prior to Silver Lake, Mo worked at Morgan Stanley as an investment banking analyst, focused on financial institutions and financial technology companies. Mo graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard Business School. Mo is a national of the United States, Somalia, and Kenya.
