Mona is the Chief Customer Officer of Barclay US Consumer Bank, leading several horizontal business and marketing functions to enhance Barclays’ ability to deliver end-to-end value to its customers. In this role, Mona has responsibility for the following areas: Existing Customer Management, Customer Experience, Digital Servicing, Marketing Delivery, and Creative Marketing Solutions. Prior to this role, Mona led the Strategic Analytics team for the US Consumer Bank.
Mona joined the US Consumer business from the market leading UK Cards business, where she was the Commercial leader of Existing Customer Management. In that role, she had responsibility for ensuring that UK card customers found great value from their Barclaycard and managed programmes to drive sustainable financial return for Barclays. Prior to joining Barclaycard, Mona was at Capital One US where she led the Cross Sell, Balance Build and Digital teams, and at Citi, with a variety of roles in analytics, marketing, commercial and Product Management. In addition to 20+ years in the card industry, Mona had an executive coaching practice and began her career in marketing research. She holds a BS in Graphic Communications Management from Carnegie Mellon University and an MS in Statistics and Operatios Research from New York University.
