Murilo Menezes is a Managing Partner and CIO at Positive Ventures, a VC based out of São Paulo - BR, and San Francisco - USA. Positive developed its Decisive Investment Framework and has been one of the most active and vocal impact investors in the Americas with top-tier returns.

 

From 2016 to 2019, Murilo was the Chief of Staff and Impact Investing Officer at Brazil's largest impact-focused SFO, Maraé, a multi-billion dollar holding led by Mr. Guilherme Leal, co-founder of Natura&Co, the world largest B-Corp. From 2010 to 2015 he worked in several roles spanning from M&A to Corporate Banking at financial institutions such as Itaú BBA and Goldman Sachs.

 

Murilo is a WEF`s Expert in the Future of Long-Term Investing, he holds a master’s degree from the Center for Public Leadership in Brazil, with extensions at the Harvard Kennedy School and at Stanford. Murilo holds a bachelor’s degree in Economic Science from the University of São Paulo.
