Nadia Attar-Bashi

I am the Global Vice President of R&D for Mars Snacking, with more than 25 years of experience spanning Innovation, Quality & Food Safety, Scientific & Regulatory Affairs, Sustainability, Supply Chain, and Business Transformation across the FMCG industry.

In my current role, I lead a global R&D organisation focused on accelerating innovation, advancing scientific excellence, and driving sustainable growth across a portfolio of iconic brands.

A scientist by training, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science and a PhD in Food Science and Nutrition. Throughout my career, I have lived and worked across the Middle East, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Europe, giving me a global perspective on leadership, organisational transformation, and innovation.

I am passionate about unlocking the potential of people, science, and technology to create meaningful impact for consumers, our business, and society. Developing future leaders and fostering inclusive, high-performing cultures are among the aspects of leadership I find most rewarding.

Outside of work, my husband, Firas, and I are proud parents to Yasmine and Zaid.
