Nathalie Morin is an accomplished CEO and Board Director with over 30 years of experience driving innovation, growth, and operational excellence across clean technology, industrial operations, and technology commercialization. She brings a unique blend of strategic vision and hands-on leadership, having led organizations through pivotal phases of scaling, investment, and transformation.
Currently serving as CEO of Polystyvert Inc., a pioneer in advanced styrenic plastics recycling, Nathalie has led the company through a successful Series B raise, the commissioning of a second-generation demonstration plant, and the development of strategic commercial partnerships. Her prior executive roles include senior leadership at Rio Tinto, where she managed a portfolio of six hydroelectric plants and over 500 employees, successfully negotiating major energy agreements and delivering major capex and modernization investments. She has also held operational leadership roles at Enerkem and Scotts Canada, with a strong track record in project execution and supply chain management.
In addition to her executive accomplishments, Nathalie is an experienced and engaged board director. She currently serves on the boards of Polystyvert Inc., Cycle momentum, Écotech Québec, and previously with Centraide Saguenay Lac-St-Jean and the Lac-St-Jean Sustainable Management Council. Her governance expertise spans ESG integration, risk oversight, investor relations, and scaling early-stage technologies in complex stakeholder environments.
A certified corporate director (ASC), Nathalie holds an MBA, an M.Sc. in material science, and a B.Sc. in chemical engineering. She is also PMP® certified. Nathalie is widely recognized for her ability to align innovation with impact, guiding organizations at the intersection of sustainability, technology, and long-term value creation.
