Nélida Leiva Eriksson

Nélida Leiva Eriksson, is the CEO and founder of Ironic AB (also known as Ironic Biotech). Originally from Peru, she holds a PhD from Lund University, where I also serve as an Associate Professor in Biotechnology. With extensive experience in iron proteins and iron metabolism, she have developed active compounds that offer highly bioavailable iron without causing side effects or having a metallic taste. These innovations aim to eliminate iron deficiency and anemia, persistent conditions that affect two billion people and mainly affects women contributing to the performance gap between genders.
