Nigel is an entrepreneur with a strong business background. He was appointed CEO in 2016 having previously headed business development at the company. Earlier in his career, he had worked within the family’s award-winning business and then graduated from Nottingham Trent with a business degree. After a period at Banks Brewery on a graduate scheme, Nigel joined the Welsh Rugby Union and at age 22 shouldered high responsibility as the Debenture Manager managing the £30 million debenture issue with its 20,000 debenture holders. After four successful years, Nigel was promoted to a role within the management of elite rugby. For three years, he managed and interacted on a daily basis with the elite squads and the national team. He had responsibility, too, for overseeing the drug testing regime. He left only because of the excitement at the opportunity presented by Sure Chill. An inspirational leader with high levels of energy, he is achievement driven and commercially astute.
