Paul Rivera is the co-founder and CEO at Kalibrr, which provides strategic talent acquisition solutions to the top 1,000 companies in the Philippines and Indonesia. He was born in the Philippines and raised in the Bay Area. He received his BA in Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley, and worked at Google before moving back to the Philippines in 2007 to become an entrepreneur. He co-founded Open Access, a pioneering Manila-based outsourcing company, which helped to scale the people operations of numerous Silicon Valley startups including Mint.com, Friendster and TripAdvisor. Today, the company has 1,500 employees across the Philippines, the US and China. Then in 2012, Paul co-founded Kalibrr, a recruitment technology company building Southeast Asia's fastest growing talent platform. He is also an investor in Maria Health, the Philippines first online-insurance platform; MyKuya, an on-demand labor platform; and SparkleLab, which is launching the first personalized education-focused schools in the Philippines.
