Pedro Vasconcellos is VP Ventures and Investments at Pearson, the world’s digital education company. He spends his time engaging with companies and founders who are creating the future of Education – one of the best jobs in the world. His previous roles include leading Pearson’s global marketing team for English and Schools, leading Pearson’s Higher Education and English divisions in Brazil and multiple Strategy and Corporate Development roles at Bertelsmann, including leading their corporate VC practice in Brazil. Pedro is an avid maker and tinkerer, who loves to build and fix things, and constantly blames his parents for letting him go to Law School instead of Engineering. He holds an MBA from UC Berkeley and an LLM from Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. He lives in London with his wife and two children.
