Perris is an Unreasonable Mentor. Perris was part of Unreasonable Impact Americas 2018, and has advised over 12 Unreasonable companies.
I'm a design strategist with a focus in fueling and developing sustainable, inclusive, social-change oriented solutions. I cut my teeth in big ad agencies and market research consultancies working on Fortune 500s in including Taco Bell, eBay, Pernod Ricard, Kraft and Volkswagen. From there I took what I learned from the corporate world to Free Range as the Director of Brand Strategy, which was once upon a time the go-to communications agency for non-profits, NGOs and social enterprises. At fuseproject I take the same human-centered mindset and apply it to social change innovation. I co-led our Spring Accelerator program facilitating 2-week boot-camps in Nepal to usher twenty social enterprises through the human-centered design process. Today I'm leading strategy on an experience design project in partnership with MIT Media Lab to facilitate social cohesion in the US. Over the last few years, I've amended my strategic practice with sustainable design, systems thinking and behavioral science, which are tools I believe are needed to make human centered design more truly humane. I'm currently pursuing my Masters in Behavioral Science at the London School of Economics to further solidify that practice. I come from a family of artists and consider insights and ideas to be my preferred mediums. I love rolling up my sleeves with passionate people, melding minds, and seeing what new ideas we can dream up together.
