Prashanth holds a Master's Degree in Engineering for Sustainable Development from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai.

He started his career with Saint Gobain as a Design Engineer and later moved to the International Business Unit as Project Manager for the Middle East, East Africa, and South Asia regions, developing deep expertise in sustainability and green buildings. He co-founded Essmart in 2012 and has helped grow the business to its current operations over the past ten years.

Prashanth has a deep interest in agriculture and renewable energy and firmly believes in using science and technology to achieve development goals in rural India.
