I am a Managing Director and the General Counsel for Asia Pacific based in Hong Kong.
I joined Barclays in 2004 as Head of Legal, Hong Kong. In 2011 my remit expanded to include North Asia and in 2013 I was appointed Head of Markets Legal, Asia Pacific. In October 2013 I became the Deputy Global Co-ordinator for Markets Legal and took on my current role in April 2015.
Between 2013 and 2015, I was the Chair of the Employee Network Groups in Asia Pacific, responsible fo managing and leading Barclays' diversity and inclusion efforts in the region. I was a founding member of Barclays' Women's Initiatives Network in Asia Pacific and am currently the Executive Committee sponsor for SPECTRUM, Barclays' LGBT+ network.
I served a member of the Executive Committee of the French International School in Hong Kong from October 2012 to October 2015.
Prior to joining Barclays, I was a senior counsel in the Legal Department at Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong since 1999, and before that, a legal counsel at Bankers Trust Company from 1997 (prior to the merger of the two banks in 1999).
I am admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong and Queensland and received my law degree from the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia.
I am married with two children.
