Rajamanohar Somasundaram

Rajamanohar Somasundaram is the Founder & CEO of Aquaconnect, One of India’s largest Integrated seafood platforms leveraging AI, geospatial technology, and fintech solutions to drive sustainable seafood production. An alumnus of IIT Kanpur, he previously co-founded Hexolabs, where he pioneered mobile-based solutions for emerging markets, focusing on AI-driven interventions in agriculture, healthcare, and financial inclusion.

A recognized thought leader in the aquaculture & blue economy, Raj is a TED Fellow and a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum. He actively contributes to global conversations on sustainable aquaculture, seafood traceability, and climate resilience. His work has been instrumental in bridging technology gaps in aquaculture, improving farm efficiency through biotech innovations, and enabling better market access for stakeholders across the seafood value chain with transparency and predictability.
