Richard joined Barclays with the acquisition of Lehman Brothers in 2008 as Head of Equities Distribution. Following the acquisition, he was actively engaged in combining the two organizations’ operations and re-establishing the Equities business across North America. He also led the build out of the Equities division across the UK, Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America. In this capacity, he served on the Equities Executive Committee, Americas Management Committee, Sales Management Committee and Global Partnership Committee.   Richard also acted as Vice Chairman of the Global Diversity Council, which was responsible for setting the diversity strategy of Corporate and the Investment Bank.
