Richard has been active as a deep tech investor since 2018. Prior to joining Innovation Industries, Richard worked at Bain & Company as a strategy consultant. He was primarily active in Bain & Company's Private Equity Group, where he conducted numerous commercial due diligences for large private equity firms. Prior to his career at Bain & Company, Richard was CEO of his own IT startup.

Richard holds a bachelor's degree and master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology and an MBA.
