Rob is a technologist, engineer, serial entrepreneur, angel investor, advisor, and father of two small kids who remind him daily that his past is mostly irrelevant to their future.
Rob is currently exploring the future of work and learning by developing content, nd experimenting with blockchain and nfts, and facilitaing a Think Tank on the Future of Learning for CompTIA. He has also explored natural language processing (NLP) tools to develop an A.I. Advisor for CEOs and business leaders.
Previously as Associate Founder and CEO of Singularity University, Rob developed an extraordinary global network of changemakers as well as tools and programs for technological disruption, global entrepreneurship, social impact investing, the future of education, transformation of work, innovative diversity, robots, AI advisors, and the ethics of technology.
Rob was a public director at Harman (HAR), co-founder and CEO of Velocity11 (robotics for cancer research and drug discovery - acquired by Agilent Technologies), is a member of the 100Coaches (Marshall Goldsmith’s leadership cohort), is on the board of Light&Motion, and holds degrees in Mechanical, Materials Science and Manufacturing Systems Engineering from UC Davis and Stanford University.
