Roger is an investor and entrepreneur committed to helping build businesses that have a positive impact on global sustainability. He currently leads investing for Blue Sparrow, a family office based in Colorado making investments and grants focused on healthy food systems and sustainable infrastructure.

Previously Roger led commercialization efforts at vertical farming company Plenty and distributed energy company Bloom Energy. He excels at the earliest stages of commercialization in new industries - pulling together sales, policy, financing, and team building. He has also worked on solar microgrids in East Africa, advancing climate policy in DC and at the UN, building several forestry based carbon offset projects in South America, and building an offshore aquaculture farm in the Bahamas. He loves partnering with great entrepreneurs across all areas of business building. Roger lives in Colorado and spends his weekends exploring the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
