Roslyn Hendriks is an experienced CEO, entrepreneur, Board Director and angel investor with lifelong success in founding new companies, commercialising new technologies, accelerating profitable growth of emerging businesses, coaching executives and companies, and serving on Boards and Advisory Boards. She has repeated these successes in angel, seed, VC and high net worth backed start-ups and other profit and non-profit organisations spanning four decades. Internationally versed. From 2001 to 2022, she co-founded and was Founding CEO of three start-ups: Genetrax (Australia), Immunexpress (USA) and Tend Health (USA) and its animal health subsidiary AmendPet, the latter a spin-out from the University of Washington and Seattle Children's Research Institute. Under her leadership, these ventures raised approximately $100 million in dilutive and non-dilutive capital, cleared products through the FDA, delivered products and services into revenue, built international business and technology partnerships and high performance teams. As Founding CEO of Immunexpress from 2006 to 2017, the company developed the award-winning SeptiCyte technology (Medtech Insight Awards, 2018, "Best Proof of Value of an Innovation"); SeptiCyte LAB was the first RNA-based multiplex molecular diagnostic to be cleared (Feb 2017) by the FDA for infectious disease. She is currently a Non-Executive Director on the Board of AU Ventures (Adelaide), Provectus Algae (Sunshine Coast), WearOptimo (Brisbane), Invasive Animals (Canberra) in Australia. She is Chair of the Investment Review Committee for WEHI's $66m early-stage fund (66ten) and is an Advisor to GMJ Technologies Inc. (Seattle) and Tend Health (Seattle) and Nanosene and Biocode (South Africa). She is recognised for her entrepreneurial DNA and ability to lead and inspire others. She is qualified in veterinary medicine (BVSc Hons 1) and medical pharmacology (PhD) and has a summa cum laude MBA. In July 2026, she is to be awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Science for her career in commercialising high tech medical products for global markets. She is passionate about innovation and experienced in building effective organisations to bring cutting edge technologies to the market. She has lived and worked in the US, France, Australia and South Africa. She is expert in seeing the big picture, rapidly finding the issues, and developing strategies for business development and transformation.
