Ryuta Higuchi is a Director at Barclays, based in Tokyo. He serves as a sales representative for Markets division where he covers Japan based institutional investors. He is a member of the Japan Citizenship Committee where he played active part in Barclays Forestry School in response to 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. He participated 2016 Ottawa One Young World Summit as a Barclays delegate and also 2017 Unreasonable Impact to discuss solutions for the world’s pressing issues. In 2018, he was selected as a finalist for the Barclays UK Intrapreneur Challenge where he developed new business idea for Barclays. He graduated from London School of Economics and Political Science with a Bachelor of Science in International Relations.
