Developed a strategic plan for a material recovery and recycling sustainability network.

Board Member, Acterra: Action for a Sustainable Earth
Partnered with a Stanford Sloan Fellow from BP to create the financial model for an LLC to implement an innovative community-based strategy for financing solar installations on small to medium sized businesses.
2001-2006
Peace Corps, Benin, West Africa
Founded and managed a non-governmental organization, GARPE, which finances, grows, and markets the nutritional supplement Moringa oliefera with women's groups, health centers, and hospitals in Northern Benin. Started a rural agricultural training center to train youth in sustainable agriculture and animal husbandry. Trained masons in village latrine and water catchment construction and sale.

Climate Change Caravan, Canada
Cycled 10,000 Km across Canada with a support bus running on used vegetable oil, solar panels, and wind. Promoted practical solutions at the household level to reduce GHGs by 50% through community festivals, slide shows, press conferences, and meetings with mayors and town councils.
