Sandra Maro Hunt, MSOD ’18, serves WSII as the Associate Director of Social Impact. Hunt manages WSII’s work around women and gender lens investing – the Investing in Women program – and works closely with colleagues on projects at the intersection of gender and WSII’s other focus areas: impact investing, emerging markets and urban economies. Additionally, she launched and leads the Turner Social Impact Society and the Penn Social Impact Consortium – interdisciplinary groups aimed at building and supporting diverse communities across Penn that are dedicated to social impact – as well as the WSII Advisory Board, which launches this year. Hunt is also a host on Dollars and Change, the weekly social impact show on SiriusXM’s Business Radio. Hunt brings skills and experiences from both the corporate and nonprofit sectors to this work: after spending the early years of her career in consulting at Accenture, Hunt served as Vice President of Operations at the start-up nonprofit Back on My Feet until 2013. Hunt graduated with honors from Bucknell University, where she earned her BSBA in business management. Hunt is working part-time towards her Masters in Organizational Dynamics at University of Pennsylvania. Her role models include her awesome husband, family and Leslie Knope.
