Sara is an Unreasonable Mentor. Sara was part of Project Literacy Lab 2017, and has advised over 13 Unreasonable companies.
Sara has a portfolio career spanning some 25 years in the music, publishing and entertainment industries. It began with a record deal aged 17, and spans a stint in San Francisco as a founding member of Rocket Network, one of the first-wave start-up audio companies (eventually sold to Avid Technologies), as well as years spent managing the digital communities of some of the world's most recognizable brands such as Mills & Boon and Disney. Sara also trained as a Strategic Futurist and was part of a future think-tank at Disney, focusing on education. She is passionate about creative strategy work, understanding audience motivations and matching this to digital content. In her role as Senior Manager of Digital Communities at Project Literacy, she is an enthusiastic advocate of 360-thinking across the digital eco-system including web, CRM, PR and social, taking a holistic approach to online community building. Sara also loves writing and has won-awards for her lifestyle blog as well as being a contributor to the Huffington Post with a column on creativity, 'Catching the Comet's Tail'.
