Shelley Ong Teshima currently serves as the Managing Director at Enso Collaborative and Adjunct Professor at Carnegie Mellon University.
Coming from a background in marketing and international business studies, Shelley brings 15+ years of experience in developing communication strategies, branded content, and integrated advertising campaigns across a range of multinational brands. Her work at Enso Collaborative centers around creating impact at scale by building mission-driven brands and shared missions that positively impact society. Along with her team, she has built shared value strategies and communication programs for visionary clients like Google, The Nature Conservancy, and Omidyar Network.
Before Enso, Shelley was the Global Account Director at Leo Burnett, where she led the masterbrand division for Samsung Global, playing an instrumental role in the first global brand creative platform. She also spent seven years working across Australia and Canada on advertising campaigns for Procter & Gamble, Kellogg’s, Telus / Koodo Mobile to local social enterprises and government.
Shelley continues to find opportunities to accelerate social progress through communication design for social ventures and non-profits. She recently took a sabbatical to work pro-bono for various NGOs in Southeast Asia. Shelley also serves as a returning guest speaker at UCLA Anderson School of Management, and ongoing Adjunct Professor at Carnegie Mellon University teaching brand strategy and branded content. She attended the University of British Columbia, earning a double-specialization in Marketing and International Business.
