Simone Severini is a Distinguished Engineer at Google and Professor of Physics of Information at University College London. He helped launch pioneering companies in the quantum technology space (PhaseCraft, Quantinuum) and built Amazon's quantum computing program from the ground up. His current work focuses on the formal verification of AI infrastructure and how the scientific method is evolving alongside machines.
