Founder, SheRACES - driving equality for women in sport. World record breaking Ultra Runner.
Sophie is an Unreasonable Fellow. Sophie has participated in 3 programs, including Unreasonable Impact UK & Europe 2018.
Sophie is Founder of SheRACES, a non profit driving equality for women in sport globally.
She attended the Unreasonable program in 2017 as CEO and Co-Founder of Airlabs, a technology company giving people clean air to breathe in polluted cities. After the program a picture of her breastfeeding her 3 month old baby during a 106 mile mountain ultramarathon went viral around the world, and she now focuses on effective system change for women in endurance sport as well as empowering mothers (@ultra_sophie).
Before founding Airlabs she worked in investment banking (M&A), private equity and was a CFO of a global marketing agency. Sophie read PPE at Oxford and has an INSEAD MBA. She also represents Great Britain at 24 hour ultrarunning (team World Champion 2025) and has 2 Guinness World records (fastest woman to run the length of Ireland and greatest distance run on a treadmill in 48 hours).
Sophie sits on several boards, as well as speaking on topics including endurance, resilience, female equality and effective advocacy. She published her first book, "The Power Within" in January 2026. Currently she is training to run Badwater, a 135 mile race in Death Valley in July 2026
