Stephen joined Cyan Finance in 2019 as Investment Banking & Resource Efficiency Lead, bringing over 15 years of experience in the finance industry. Stephen has dedicated his business activities exclusively to assisting companies focused on energy/resource efficiency, the decarbonisation of the economy and sustainability.

Previously, Stephen ran the Cleantech investment banking team at UBS in New York. During this time, Stephen originated and executed over $2bn of transactions, across capital raising and strategic advisory. Stephen has worked on transactions in the renewable energy, energy storage, e-mobility, ag tech, semiconductor and IoT spaces.  

Stephen was a member of UBS’ Global Sustainability Council and acted as Global Climate Change Mitigation & Adaptation coordinator for UBS’ investment bank.

Stephen combines experience of working with early stage and growth businesses and a deep passion for helping companies driving the green economy.

Stephen is CFA30 approved and is a solicitor in the Courts of England and Wales. He is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
