Tamer is a seasoned global business development executive, with more than 20 years of experience delivering accelerated growth and increased revenue performance. He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of cross-boarder payments start-up Thunes and more recently as Chief Commercial Officer of global remittance scale-up, Worldremit. Prior to that Tamer was SVP & Group Head at MasterCard and he also held various leadership roles at American Express.

Tamer holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, a Master’s degree from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy and a Bachelor of Arts in History and International Relations from Tufts University.
