Having lived in India for nearly a decade, Tom was a Co-Founder of Aspada, an Indian venture capital fund focused on agriculture, healthcare, education, and access to capital. Aspada was backed by the Soros Economic Development Fund and sold to the LGT Group of Liechtenstein in August 2019. Prior, he was one of the first employees of SeaChange Capital Partners, a social sector financial intermediary founded by former senior partners of Goldman Sachs. Earlier, he worked in the Investment Management Division at Goldman Sachs in San Francisco. Tom is a Co-Founder of CommonShare, a startup focused on supply chain transparency, small business enablement, and marketplace solutions for buyers and producers dedicated to sustainability.
