Tim Brown

Inspired by the diverse ecosystem of the Great Lakes region, Tim began his career as an environmentalist and hasn't looked back. He's worked on a broad range of pollution prevention and toxic reduction projects in both the nonprofit and for profit sectors. Tim now runs Tradewater, a project development firm that collects and destroys greenhouse gases. He started this work in the US and is now expanding it globally. He is interested in developing products and services that leverage markets to make measurable and scaleable impact. Tim's current focus is the intersection of climate change mitigation and economic development. He has has served on a number of boards for environmental, community development, art, special education, and philanthropic organizations.
